The meeting included high-ranking officials from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Serbia, emphasizing a commitment to shared prosperity, stability, and enhanced cooperation with the European Union.
A substantial portion of the summit’s agenda was dedicated to discussions on economic reforms, enhancing security cooperation, bolstering defense coordination, and improving resilience against cyber threats. EU representatives reiterated that expansion of the union is a strategic imperative, urging candidate countries to persist in implementing necessary reforms for potential membership.
The summit also served as a platform to evaluate the progress of the EU’s growth plan tailored for the Western Balkans.
